When I get to my target weight

When I get to my target weight I plan on buying myself a sewing maniac, a professional sewing machine with different feet, a few yards of different colored fabric and plan to make a few dresses of my own design!

@anon57786250 @pob thanks guys! It’s really got me pushing myself kinda hard, I don’t even drink soda anymore! And of course I am gluten free (not my choice) and hitting the gym most days! I’m down to 199lbs I started at 214lbs and I’m really proud of myself

I’ve decided to go off of rolls and butter - my latest snack craze. My weight has been inching up since I started them

@pob I’ve been looking up a lot of Pinterest stuff as snacks! I have found a lot of stuff I wanna try! It all looks good!

That’s great! You’re doing awesome! Good for you!

I know. I lost 100 pounds over a year and it was not easy. It took determination, commitment, exercise and self control. Not easy at all! Good job!

I never thought of rewarding myself for losing weight, I hope you get that sewing machine! I’ve just been so happy to lose all the weight I’ve lost. I use to weigh 240lbs and I was unhealthy and miserable.

That’s impressive, I’ve lost over 70lbs. I stepped on the scale today and I weigh 167lbs. I’m only 3lbs away from my normal/healthy BMI weight. I’ve been overweight for almost 20 years, it all started when they put me on meds.

Congrats! New clothes can be so nice.

I lost 25-30 pounds in the past couple months, still another 10 to go to be my target weight, but almost there!

@LilyoftheValley thanks! I’m finally ready to fight and work hard for my weight loss journey

@Ifeelgoodtoday yeah I know right! I’m still got a long ways till I’m to my target but I’m getting there

Good job!! That’s really cool.

I have decided to start taking my Latuda with dinner instead of adding a nightly snack (I must consume 350 calories with Latuda). The extra 350 calorie snack every night, over a month or so, made me gain 10 pounds! It happened so fast, it seems. :open_mouth:

So, gotta change things up.

I also decided not to drink alcohol except at restaurants or on special occasions (empty calories, easy to abuse/self medicate, and just not good with SzA). And I’ll still have a limit of only 2 drinks, like it has been for a while, when I do have a drink.

Only a few months ago, I was super mega thin. I’m still small, but the fat is all accumulating around my waist. OH, NO.

It’s these damn antipsychotics. They are determined to make us all gain weight. But you’ve lost weight, so you’re a star!! :star_struck:

I just gotta change some habits to get rid of this belly flub.

@Blossom I’ve been on many meds for the past two years latuda being one of them and it’s a good med… Not for me but you know lol yeah you can’t snack much when trying to lose or maintain and it sucks!

I think I’ll use reverse psychology on myself and come up with a target weight of 700. Hopefully I’ll never reach it but at least I’d achieve something.
