I only ever watched the first episode of that series and it finished me. The one where the country’s PM mated with a pig on live television. Couldn’t bear to watch anything after that. Pretty horrible.

Honestly the pilot was terrible. You can’t judge the series on it. I really think it’s one of the worst episodes they’ve made. I’d recommend giving the series another try, maybe with an episode like Nosedive or USS Callister.

I had a similar experience, I only ever managed to watch the first episode. I’m sure it’s a great show, it’s just not for me.

“Fifteen Million Merits” was probably one of the saddest ones in my opinion. Should try and rewatch Black Mirror again.

The show’s plot and characters are different every episode. You can literally just skip the first one if you don’t like it. None of the characters show up again. The other episodes are mostly good.

Turns out it’s not a Black Mirror episode. But rather a mockumentary made by Charlie Brooker. They made a cringeworthy joke in the first minute so I didn’t watch the rest. My brother watched it all and said it was very cringeworthy.

Black Mirror’s pretty awesomeness.

I’ve liked all the episodes I’ve seen so far. Just the right amount of sci-fi, dark humor, and twistedness.

However, I will say that Bandersnatch was pretty triggering, and I ultimately couldn’t finish it.

I’m due for a re-watch and feeling better, so maybe I’ll be able to make it through this time around.

Charlie Brooker, the show’s creator, is pretty great as well. He used to have a series called Newswipe that was available on YouTube last I saw, where he critiqued global happenings.

The news is old at this point, but it’s worth a watch if you enjoy dark humor for sure.

Were you afraid of Pax, the Thief of Destiny? The one shot of him in it was really scary.

Also not sure if everybody knows this or not but The Simpsons did a great parody of Black Mirror on its Thanksgiving of Horror episode. Homer gets a Marge AI to take care of what Marge usually takes care of in the kitchen. Only the Marge AI has Marge’s memories and gets freaked out about the idea of being trapped and plots on how to escape. It’s pretty good.
