What's your favorite accent?

l only ask cuz I just heard Olympia Dukais passed away,
and they played a clip of her on NPR of her in Moonstruck,
hers was a thick New York accent.
I think that’s my favorite.
I see on this screen
that this question has been asked before,
but it’s been awhile.

Australian.

I love the way they pronounce words and the curses they use.

I love the southern US accent. I know some people find it stupid, but I think it’s really sweet.
One of my best friends is from Florida, and I love hearing him talk

I grew up in the South and the accent makes me cringe.

But I see how some people could find it endearing.

I think a lot of older men from areas like Oklahoma have a really cool accent. I find it relaxing to hear.

I was born on the East Coast but I grew up in California, but I’ve been told that I have an East Coast accent.

My favorite accent is the cliche Minnesotan accent. :joy:.

I grew up speaking dysfunction. Although I have learned English, I will always speak it with an accent of dysfunction.

I don’t really like accents, people sometimes say things I don’t understand and it takes me a second to process what they are saying. Dealing with that when you often speak to people from all over the world gets annoying.
