Whats your disability allowance amount?

I live in the U.S., and my disability check is $1684.10, where health insurance is already taken out.

I get the minimun disability ssi and ssdi, totals around $730

LS! Monthly I get 1154 euros app 1277 dollars. I have some stock that gives me 4000 euros a year. My rent for an appartment of 50 square meters in Amsterdam the Netherlands is 359 euros monthly. Monthly I get 99 euros zorgtoeslag extra money from the Government to pay for Health Care Insurance. Once a year I get 900 euros for holidays. So I spend about 1600 euros app 1770 dollars monthly.

I get somewhere around $1260 USD plus half that for the kids.

Yes born here as well .I applied twice. Got called in for assessment twice …But every case is different…

I get 546 € for two years. One year has passed. I got granted for two years, but it’s still social welfare. I read at the internet that it can take ten to fifteen years to be always on disability. Now I need to get checked every two years. But the doctor wrote that I’m unable to work in the future after the two years.

I make 1200 a month.

Here in Us I get 804 a month after 156.50 taken for Medicare. I got put on disability before I turned 30 for 9 psychiatric and chronic pain disorders. Because I had not worked for 10 years, my payments equal to about $3.75 an hour
I don’t make minimum wage, my husband makes 20.48 an hour as a prison sgt, but we still are using food pantries to supplement because we are 200 dollars over the limit of 5 people for food share and Medicaid. We make 52k a year total, but even with minimal Bill’s, my medical bills. His insurance premiums to cover me for rx coverage and secondary, plus having 3 teenagers we just can’t pull ahead. I am currently drug resistant schizophrenic as main cause, bbn I have failed or had an allergic reaction to everything out there. I am only on xanax for anxiety until we can get me into a drug trial program, but most won’t take me because of my other health problems. I haven’t slept in 4 days, they’re gonna up my xanax every week until I’m on 10mg a day, I’m at 1.5 a day now. But we’re in a battle with the health system because when I had my last allergic reaction to vraylar on august 7, I went to er because my panic attack was so severe I threw up for 6 hours straight, had such violent shaking and other things they treated me as a drug user and accused me of withdrawing from hardcore street drugs. When the blood tests came back clean, as in not even tylenol in my system, they gave me a hip injection while I was sitting, and injected mlm it into the cartridge and blew out my hip joint. So now I can’t walk. I had xrays and my regular doc said I am either gonna have a hip replacement or will be fitted into a hard hipbrace for 6 months, either way, it’s the ER’s fault. I see avsoecialist on Oct 1st, to determine which ig will be, but nobody will give me pain meds because of WI’snopiod crisis in our county where we’ve had 40 deaths this year alone. S o I suffer. But they put me kn complete bedrest until I see the specialist. So hubby is essentially my caretaker, only provider working 8-16 hour mandated days because of the prison shortage, and he has to DC o all the kids stuff. I feel useless, and I saw my pdoc yesterday, she is at a loss as to what to do. So we up the xanax, hope I pass out every few days, and meanwhile I told her I just want to die. I am 34, married 16 years, together with my husband since 15 in 2000. Our kids are 15, 14, and almost 13. Sometimes i wonder If the life insurance the prison took out on me would be worth more to my family than me being useless like I am. I won’t go back to a psych ward after being sexually assaulted in one in 2008 I SD, I told my docs they will find me dead first. So they don’t even suggest it ever. Sorry, I had a pity party, I just had to get it out.

Sue them. It should be easy to win a settlement fee, and you deserve compensation for pain and suffering, as well as the cost of that ER visit and every medical follow up related to your hip for life.

I get $514 a month and almost $200 in food stamps. I still live with my parents but help them out financially as much as possible. I also have Humana health insurance which covers all of my medications, check ups and I get a free 6 month dental check up and basic cleaning. I’m very lucky to have all of this thanks to my dad who hired a lawyer to get all of this done. I wasn’t even in the right state of mind when I got disability but I’m very thankful to my dad.

Im in Canada… i get 1685$ rent is 800$

I receive a total of around 2400 AUD per month (1600 USD), it might sound like a lot but living in Australia is quite expensive and it is barely enough to cover all my bills.

Oh we are getting a lawyering just have to wait till Oct 1st, the emergency appt they scheduled, with the specialist to tell me which it is surgery or brace. I put my story on Facebook, some lawyers were recommended to me, as few said to contact them after the treatment decision is made, but many lawyers are dying to get their claws Into Mercy. So i kinda feel validated that lawyers are contacting me after some friends on facebook saw my post and pointed them towards me. I have never stood up for my medical rights until about 2008. My husband and I have had enough with being dismissed and being told I was incapable of making my own medical decisions because I’m sz, now he goes with to every appt and he will stop a conversation if a dr starts that ■■■■■■■■.

$1100 plus the income from my job which is $2200 a month. So in total I get about $3300 though I would prefer to get off of disability allowance.

U.K. here
My total disability and housing benefit - no council tax as disabled is approx £2100 a month. Total to me after housing is paid is £1300 a month. My outgoings are £130 a month for utilities/gas/water/electric/internet/satellite/phone.

I got taken to court and have a court appointed person at social services manage my money, he gives me £500 a month (4 weekly) to buy food and other stuff. I spend around £300 a month eating out, coffees, takeouts from apathy and anhedonia to be bothered to cook. My appointee also puts £100 a month into my other current account to pay for contract mobile phone… And the £130 for utilities comes from his there account… The rest I save which is roughly £500 a month… I have to purchase stuff to replace decent stuff to dwindle my savings because the limit in savings is £6.000 in the U.K. after that your benefits are reduced. I end up buying a new iMac every couple of years.
