What's the scenery like where you live?

We moved to Barrhead, AB, Canada this past week. (Well, Mrs. Squirrel has mostly lived here for the past year.) It’s much nicer than where we lived in east Central Alberta. Lots of trees and rolling hills here. Paddle Creek runs right next to town and there’s a beautiful walkling path beside it that I’ve been enjoying. Looking forward to busting out a camera and working the scenery.

From my enclosed balcony I can see an estuary and the sea in the distance. Houses. And trains going by. Trees and birds. The sunrise. And mountains. Love it here!

I live in the forest, there is a beautiful lake and cabins. I am currently living in a cabin that is already furnished. I live in walking distance to the general store where they sell sandwiches.

down in a river valley here. hills to the north and south. some houses, farms, soy and corn. with the river running through the scene. a smokestack is visible from the power plant across the river. lot’s of air traffic overhead as this place is in route to cvg international airport. I think it’s most scenic in the fall when the leaves get colorful, all deciduous trees here. and again lots of mornings there will be a fog down by the river where I can get some scenic pictures. we also get lots of river barges going up and down the river.

I live in a small city… My apartment is a loft with huge windows… Our yards consists of huge trees and train tracks. We’re not far from the train station so we often see and hear the trains coming through several times a day and even at night. You’d think they’d be loud but we have a brick wall so it’s muffled and we sleep through it at night. Often times we watch the trains go by. I love trains. We used to ride them all the time and it brings good memories. We also see beautiful and sometimes huge birds from our yard. In my city there are lots of beautiful trails and mountains but I miss the beach!

Ever see the movie 8 mile? The trailer park is at the end of my street. My area is a dump.

There are some nice trees in the backyard. When certain weather hits the sky and the land can be pretty in parts of town. However most of the time the scenery is not that wonderful.

That sounds like a dream! I really want a loft apartment but it is going to be awhile before I can afford it. They are building a lot of cheap loft apartments in my city in the abandoned factory buildings so maybe I can snag one once I graduate

Good I hope you get one. This is my favorite apartment that I’ve had. I might stay here awhile. It’s one of the more affordable lofts in my city . There are more expensive ones but they’re not even as cute as mine. When I saw it I was like Oooh I want it. There were two other applications ahead of me and somehow I ended up getting it… It’s a 3b 2ba my son and I love it. He has his own room and a playroom. We love it!

I hope you get yours! I love industrial lofts. I got lucky because in other cities they’re super expensive.

Yah I’m lucky to live in a smaller city that things are very affordable. I probably would just go for a one bedroom though as I don’t want kids for a long time. I might move to Austin tx in a couple years which would probably be a lot more expensive but I might be making more then. Thats awesome you found a 3b though, that sounds like a dream
