What's the main thing you're focused on improving right now?

Are you actively working on improving yourself? What’s your highest priority? What steps are you taking? What are your tips on staying focused and motivated?

I’m trying to get better at socializing so I won’t feel as drained at the end of the day.

It’s proving difficult though…

It’s hard to believe that people like me. But I think I’m getting better and less paranoid??

Highest priority is overcoming my inaction. I don’t know if it’s just avolition or not.

Just focusing on 1 day at a time and my class.

Maybe money management

I’ve got to totally quit smoking. That’s probably the most important thing. And, not let negative thougths or avolition make me want to give up totally.

Hm. Thanks for asking, it helped me think.

  1. I want to be a good daugther. I want to be kind and caring to my parents.

  2. Taking good care of myself and my house. I have a new house and my goal is to do something in the house everyday.

  3. Being more social. I kind of lack in structure and initiative in social contacts, and to a lesser extent understanding. So i can easily feel deeply for someone, but find it hard to really show it in a consistent way that other people expect - like calling every week or taking the initiative to invite them for a coffee. I try to change that, but it is not a natural thing for me.

I dont really know how to stay focused. For the second and third theme i bought a planner and put in it what to do - buy something for thd house, call a friend.

I’m with @everhopeful. I just need to do more. (In order to show love to my family and those around me.)

My weight is my main focus right now
Also not to be scared of my pdoc
I have a appt with a therapist in the 21st
And have no idea what we are supposed to talk about and if she shares everything with the pdoc

On my new med (as of mid-March), I am ready to go back to work and come off disability. I have been actively searching for a full-time job since April.

So far, I’ve applied for five jobs that I could handle. I had one interview, but the job didn’t end up meeting expectations so I took my name out of consideration. I have two jobs still active. I hope to interview for one of them in particular.

I can make $10,000 - $15,000 more per year working than I get on disability. I just bought a new-to-me car out of my savings account, so I am eager to start working and put money back in there. I am going to pretend I have a $250 car payment each month and rebuild in that way.

Just general quality of life things while I am well. I think getting a girlfriend is #1 at the moment. I have other stuff planned too like going hiking.

Primary focus is my mental health, with a minor focus on my weight and sobriety
