I was awake for 48 hours and the entire surrounding feels like slow motion. It not good staying awake for more than 14 hours while on meds it will impact ones thinking. Severe impact it leads to restlessness and confusion , but with proper 8-9 hours of sleep my mental state is well.

Around 500 hours straight. More or less. It was hard to keep track after the first few days. I slept poorly for months after. This is how i got psychosis.

You would of died before reaching 500 hours.

According to the er doctor you cannot die from sleep deprivation. He sent me home with a sleeping pill at around 2 weeks.

Find a song that puts you sleep daily which is repetitive,

example white noise.

The Guinness World Record for the longest time a human has gone without sleep is

453 hours and 40 minutes, which is 18 days, 21 hours, and 40 minutes. This record was set by Robert McDonald in 1986.

It’s important to note that Guinness World Records stopped monitoring this record in 1997 due to the inherent dangers associated with sleep deprivation. Studies suggest that severe sleep deprivation can lead to serious health consequences and can even increase the risk of death, albeit usually indirectly.

Probably only 2 days if even that. I used to be a night owl but one day switched into being a normal sleeper

96 hours on maruijuanna and a ton of coffee. I also quit my meds and ended up in the psych ward on day 4.

I think I stayed awake for 36 hours on a few different occasions back when I was in my late teens.

11 days. Went off zyprexa because it caused severe sleeping problems, but it became worse when stopping the meds. I expected sleep to come, but it never did. Nobody in health services said that this could happen, I was unawares.

11 days with not a minute of sleep? Thats insane. Last time I tried to stop Zyprexa, I only got 45 minutes of sleep in a 30 hour span. I was desperate for sleep so I started taking it again.

I think i’ll be on it for life.

like around 30 hours lol i got so inebriated from lack of sleep that i felt like i couldnt even form thoughts and my eyes had a bunch of blurry spots in vision, i even drank energy drinks which didnt help,

Longest I ever went without sleep was 72 hours. I got psychotic of course. In the ER, they gave me two shots. One of Zyprexa and one of Ativan. I went home and slept for like 18 to 24 hours on the couch.
