A neck buff and a wool beanie from my brother so I can continue to hike and bike in the cold weather.
I also got an old Lenny Bruce book from 1961, and an old publication from 1983 featuring a Lynda Berry cartoon on the cover.
Then I got an ornament with a dumpster fire on it that says 2020. And some chocolates. Really the ornament could probably say any year from my life and it would be accurate, but I didn’t tell the gift giver that.

Did you ever see that film they made about Lenny Bruce? It had Dustin Hoffman playing him.
I love all my gifts, I got a new llama blanket, a bunch of candy and snacks and a gift card.

I thought it was very well made. Some critics were very critical of Hoffman’s performance but I think he did a great job.
It was filmed in black and white and that adds atmosphere to the film’s mood.
I accidentally gave myself a great gift this morning. I haven’t weighed myself for over a month and I know I was up a couple of pounds the last time. I hit the scale this morning to tally up the damage and I was down 4 lbs. Total weight loss for 2020 is now 60.4 lbs. I hit my goal before year end!

My favorite gifts are my new Google Pixel 4a cellphone and my new Stitch plush blanket! The blanket is super soft and the colors are very vibrant.
The best present I got was a 39" TV from my brother.

I have more gifts on the way that have been delayed to the USPS situation, but my grandmother gave me $250 that I was able to spend on clothes and books since that’s all I really care about nowadays. My dad also gave me $50 on Christmas Eve that I was able to buy some religious stuff, a shirt, and stickers with.
I’ll update this thread once the package (hopefully) arrives on Monday.

I like it too. I wanted black, but I walk in the dark so much I went with a brighter colour because drivers keep trying to run me over. That’s the problem with all of your winter gear being dark in a country that is dark a lot in the winter.

Honey Bruce was married to Lenny Bruce. And they have a daughter together, Kitty Bruce, who is in charge of his estate.
Got ya! It’s been a while since I’ve seen Lenny. But she was portrayed in the movie.
Yeah, he had a girlfriend named Honey. The movie was called “Lenny” which makes a lot of sense.
