This isn’t good for the extreme cold days, but it’s going to be great for walking in temps down to about -10C so I don’t overheat and sweat like crazy. The clothing I have for the 5 to -10C range isn’t the best.
What did everyone else get that they can really use?
I got me and my fam a $4700 CAD Ellis Water machine. Super useful medicinal water. Underrepresented, under-studied.
Might be a source of cold fusion. This is something I’ll have to dabble with.
The machine itself is simple, it merely heats and cools water multiple times a minute, which changes the hydrogen bond angle. I could clone it if I knew enough, the circuit is dead simple.
I bought the e-book version of Barack Obama’s book when it came out several weeks ago. I haven’t read it yet. It’s over 700 pages long from what I recall.
It’s really hard to choose. I got a lot of presents this year. Me and my partner decided to spoil each other cause next year we will have a child and not be as well off.
I got some lovely clothes. I’ll probably pick those. I’ve gained quite a bit of weight and had to get rid of a lot of my wardrobe so I’m replacing it.
well mom gave me $300 to split with my girlfriend. I got a bob and doug mackenzie action figure set complete with miniature ice chest full of teeny beers, fake cases of beer to stack behind bob and doug while they sit at lounge chairs around a coleman camping stove…hilarious…my best friend gave it to me…he knew I always loved it and he didn’t have room for it…my sister got me some expensive cologne. my niece gave me her left right center winnings since she didn’t get me a Christmas present…I humbly took the money…almost fifty dollars. dad’s money gift hasn’t gotten here yet but I bet it’s like $200 which is great.
hard to pick one, i got so much more than anticipated. an IU winter coat from my brother, a nice all weather hiking shirt from my sister, and a IU flag from mom and dad. i think i like the hiking shirt best.
I got a ginseng ficus plant, it’s a type of bonsai plant (dwarf tree), but it’s way easier to manage and it will grow much bigger. Pretty cool little tree though.
Mom gave me a blank recipe book, so I can fill it out with all the recipes we’ve made together. Her Gramma passed one down to her, and now Mom has bought a blank one for me. And she wrote a really sweet dedication on the front cover. I’ll treasure it.
