I asked my dad if he has a vegetable steamer. Then I said “I got you something nice for Xmas”. I got him a bamboo steamer from Amazon. Stupid head
Can you return it ?
It’s ok. He “hid” my gifts in his bathroom. Cooking knives & such. I know he got em for me cos I’m the only one who likes to cook. Haha . We’re a goofy messed up family.
I just went in there to pee and saw them.
I might try. I ordered it off Amazon
Actually don’t. It sounds like a pretty nice gift.
It includes chop sticks which my dad always uses them when we get Chinese food
Looks great @Loke , I’d definitely keep it.
I’m glad you posted that. i was thinking it was some kind of device that steams actual bamboo sticks, lol. I don’t know anything about bamboo but I know they steam wood so they can bend it.
I’m beginning to wonder if my gift choices may have been stupid as well. I don’t know if anyone is going to like them. I’m sure they want care if they don’t but it would be nice if they actually liked the gifts I bought.
Don’t do that! I’m sure they are good. It’s normal to worry about it, though.
I asked my niece for a case of Diet Coke for Xmas. One year she bought me some $5 good smelling stuff for my house. I loved it
I think it’s neat how they distill water. I learned that in my engineering classes
I made sunflower seed brittle for my mom, and bought some meat sticks for my dad, and a couple of pounds of fudge for them to share. I found a clearance talking Yoda toy for my sister. Then for my two best friends I got a winter hat for one and a 10 swim punch card at the local pool for the other. Overall, all my gifts cost about $100 which is about my limit for gifts this year. I always try to give thoughtful gifts but sometimes I think people don’t like what I give…idk. I’m getting a food processor this year from my parents.
My housemate says she’s going to buy a bisexual flag. I hope she doesn’t because that’s what I got her for Christmas. I think we can stop her.
Why was the bamboo steamer a bad idea?
I’m going through that too. I saved up money all year for Christmas and my daughters friend stole $700 of it. I can’t prove it either. I’m just out the money. So I have very little to spend on gifts this year. It sucks!
You really should report that to the cops. 700 dollars is a lot of money!
We can’t prove who did it. That’s why we didn’t bother
Because I practically told my dad that’s what I got him. Without literally saying it.
I still think it’s ok to give it to him. It sounds like a great gift
Eh. I knew what my parents were getting me for my birthday, and I was still really happy to get it! If it’s the right gift for him, don’t let this little incident change it.
