What's something good or fun that happened today?

That’s cool. Good luck with streaming! @shutterbug does a live radio show, maybe he can give you tips on how to never run out of stuff to talk about (if that is something you have issues with.)

I’m very talkative about history so I always got something to talk about. Drives my wife crazy sometimes lol

My hubby is a history teacher so you and he would probably get along very well together!

I went to my trauma group today for people with PTSD. I’m hoping it helps over time

Oh man, you have me confused with Rush Limbaugh. My new station format has almost no talking at all, just new music and lots of it. A live show is me hitting the Pioneer and live mixing with no talking.

I was at the dermatologist today and I had a few minutes before my appointment so I stepped outside to wait. A mailman was delivering mail to the office next door and I glanced over at him and he started walking by me so I tripped him and kicked him and stole his mail. JOKE.

Actually, there really was a mailman and he just looked at me and I said, “Making the rounds”? It wasn’t the most brilliant thing to say but he laughed and looked at me and said, “Yep.” In a friendly way. It kind of cheered us both up and then 5 or 10 minutes later I was still waiting outside and some 30 year old woman was walking by and we were just kind of looking so to break the ice I gave her a friendly “Hello” and she smiled and said “Hi” back and then she asked me something and I answered and it was really friendly and no big deal and not awkward or anything.

I used to do this all the time with strangers when I was living in downtown San Jose, Ca just a couple of years ago. A 7-11 was right next door to where I lived and I would often strike up conversations with people because I was there two or three times a day getting sodas. It didn’t seem to bother anyone and I usually could get a laugh from people with some joke or inane comment.

The thing is that my case worker wrote on my treatment plan that I am very friendly and polite and I “navigate through the community” very well. Don’t get me wrong, I get mad at people sometimes but most of the time I’m mellow and being friendly sure beats glaring at people which my sisters used to tell me I did unconsciously when I was in my twenties.

And I’ll wind this up by saying I had problems with the receptionist in the dermatologist office in the past but we kind of reached an uneasy truce. Today she looked a little bitchy but she wasn’t rude and on my way out after my appointment I said something funny and we both laughed.

So these are the kind of days I like. My life ain’t the easiest or the best but it’s just these little incidents that can cheer me up and the weather was fine anyways and I enjoyed being outside and the doctors office is in a nice area of the city so yeah, it was a nice day.

I had a good night if that counts.

I gave myself a mental kick up the backside - and decided ive got to be more self-relient. So ive just spent half the night cleaning my flat from top to botttom, even bleached the skirting boards and piled thru a months worth of ironing. Took a bath and Shaved and cut my hair.

And ive disconnected the door bell. Im better off on my own.

Whatsupp @anon78876561. ? keeping well i hope.

Small goals are always the best! Small victories make you feel so good once achieved. I like candied orange slices, too.
