I don’t drink, but I might go to my friend’s house. Otherwise I may just sit at home. New Year’s has never been a big deal to me.

I probably need to buy a New Years gift for myself, I’ll spend my New Years alone, I can see the city fireworks from my balcony, nothing special, the same as usual.

I dont celebrate x mas as i belong to hindu religion… but i watch x mas celebration on television…!!!

same as usual, I use to go to parties but I don’t do that anymore. If anybody wants to be my date though, maymbe we’ll make a party! not sure why many people feel lonely during these times. It doesn’t affect me, I just want to c what the fuss is all about. btw iam considering dating again.

I don’t usually drink, but I’ve considered getting a Moscato this year and sharing it with my husband. That would be nice. We don’t go out, though.

I don’t do anything for New Years Eve any more but New Years Day I will make cabbage with sausage and potatoes and black eyed peas. Yummy

We don’t celebrate Xmas, but still like the idea of giving gifts, so we’ve got a few things for our kid to open New Years morning and then we’ll go visit friends and neighbors and drop off gifts for them. Then maybe go out for lunch/dinner.

I’m Scottish and New Year is always celebrated with a party and first footing (when you visit friends and family with a bottle of booze and a gift or a lump of coal to bring a prosperous year). Sometimes the party lasts for a week! However, I’m not big on drinking or social situations these days so it’ll probably be a quiet one for me. I’m spending the New Year with my birth father for the first time though so I might treat myself to a wee nip of whisky when the bells ring :slight_smile:

I like to revisit my old stomping grounds every new years, i’ll frequent all the bars I’ve been to on past new years. I have a thing for remembering where I’ve been while moving forward with my life. that’s it I’m generally a recluse but I show my face for auld lang syne

Maybe have a few drinks with my husband. I have to fly home to QLD the next morning to see my family so it will be an early night.
