I have only been to a New Year’s party once. My husband’s boss put it on for co-workers, but everyone divided up into cliques, and my husband and I, along with another couple, where left sitting on the outside. It was really awkward, and we left early claiming that we needed to get home for the kids. He hasn’t invited us to a party since, though we know he’s had them, and he de-friended me on facebook. Apparently, I made quite an impression. Funny thing is, I didn’t even say more than two words to him. I know it sounds silly, but it still hurts my feelings to think about it. I don’t know what I did wrong, but I think I’m the reason that we aren’t invited to those New Year’s parties anymore.
I’m going to a new years party at my friend’s place. There will be a lot of people there. I’m hoping I will be ok. We are going to watch the countdown in different cities around the world.
Having a get together with my family and doing fireworks, no crazy parties lol
