mine was a mazda rx -4, the mechanic put a faulty thermostat in it and I blew the engine almost right away…paid for it with my own money…I was so pissed.

Actually I had people calling me, years later, from old work places to ask if the car was still running:
“dude, I said that if your car is still running I am getting Honda”
It was the best advertising for honda. At least 4 people got honda after a call.

I had a gold lexus sedan. I like the way it handled.
A 1966 Chevy Chevelle Malibu. It had a V8 with a four barrel carburetor, it wasn’t that fast but it did have a passing gear so if I floored it would take off and go extra fast. I loved that car, I had many good times in it. I had it about ten months and then it got totaled in a wreck.

The engine had a tendency to overheat in warm weather.
I used this car while working as a delivery messenger for a large well known company. I remember one time I had to give one of the directors a ride because their car was in the shop. I had to turn on the AC with heat a warm summer day to keep the engine from boiling. It was embarrasing He was like “sure…if it helps the car…”
Technically, my first car was a tan Dodge Aspen my parents gave me.
But the first car that I purchased was a white Monte Carlo.
