What was there before the big bang

lol yes, or picture two astronauts each with a light beacon on their head each traveling in the opposite direction. as they pass they can help but testify that it is the other one moving, not themselves or visa vera, depending on their own understanding of the concepts of general relativity. but see thats what i love about authors like brian green, they take einstein concepts and quantu8m mechanics and overlap them into one unified theory when the average scholar would say that there is no correllary to begin with because the math just doesnt add up. but in reality, it does

@agent101g I don’t believe that the universe will implode on itself. I guess I didn’t explain myself very well. Where the ripples Collide, matter is simply redistributed and as universes are torn apart dark energy and dark matter amass into a super nova black hole kind of thing

The matter that began in our universe may now be absorbed by five other universes as there is a violent Collision which causes the next iteration of a universe. But the matter it’s not discreet, it does not belong to our universe only, but is reabsorbed and recycledby many universes. Does that make sense?

Anything that I read now about Einstein’s general and special relativity, immediately provides a reference to quantum mechanics. The two topics are now nearly inseparable

yep its all about up quarks and down quarks these days as green would say lol

@gcar that is freaking hilarious LOL. What is the author’s name again?

@KushiDays you just described it perfectly.

Yeah I guess. I was just excited to share something I learned in college even if it was a little outdated. It’s a shame cuz I really enjoyed the idea of a cycle as opposed to eventual oblivion.

@agent101g you may very well be right. To be honest with you, I have no idea how to understand the math it’s beyond me. It’s just the way that it appears as I visualize it in my mind, not really any hard science to it

But I don’t really see it as oblivion, merely the necessary violence that it takes to recreate life over and over and over again into Infinity

Much like breathing

My great grandfather^-15 owned a taco stand at the start of the Big Bang. The story goes is that business got a whole lot better afterwards.

And what caused it?

I read that about 10 years ago and liked it a lot

The astrophysicists are starting to turn their attention towards that. They needed to.

I tried to order Elegant Universe off of Thriftybooks.Com - after an hour of shopping, and then filling out all of my personal information it came up with a message saying it could not ship outside of the United States.

Argh!!!

It can’t be proven to what happened

That’s true, these are all just conceptualizations. The truth is so much Stranger Than the fiction

Another conceptualization is a tachyon particle, which is supposedly always faster than light.
