The best time of my life was the 7th and 8th grades. I had my needs taken care of. I had friends, I enjoyed myself in school. I also enjoyed myself with playing on the soccer team, with my school.
Summer of 2001. Was the Saturday night house band at a Jersey Shore club. Was a great gig. We had other gigs, too, so I got to do what I love best for work and nothing else.
What kind of music did you sing along with?
From 1992-1996. I had it all …
I was/am a rock and blues singer.
Have you been singing your whole life?
I learned how to read music and play piano when I was 4. I think I started singing when I was 8 or 9. My first “gig” was me singing at a kid’s talent show on access cable tv!
That’s great…I want to play the drums for a famous band one day.
Now with SZ I got a good job fake friends eliminated
Do you play now?
no…only sometimes, because I struggle with depression.
I totally hear ya. My depression has made it feel impossible to work on my voice. (I have a coach that trained me for years, and now I just train myself with her exercises because I can’t afford her.) My depression tells me not to bother, there’s no point.
My life was pretty great up until I was about 20 years old when mental illness started to take over. It got really bad at around 25, and I was diagnosed with schizophrenia the next year.
The best time of my life is without a doubt right now. I have peace and tranquility. I also have resources. No one is abusing me very badly, for once in my life. And I finally have God.
Age 17.
I had partied and camped out and had friends---- it was sooooo much fun
Probably my current phase in life. I might watch A Clockwork Orange later tonight.
Bangkok 1961-1964.

I always like to think my current life is my best life.
There are times I enjoyed more or less,
But making the best of right now is super important to your happiness.
