What to do when the mental health team push you to do things your finding difficult

I’m really tired. I had a conversation with my employment specialist. She said if its not the job that’s the problem i should go in. I should ignore the supervisor who is stressing me out, but he’s my supervisor and his eyes on my work the whole time. I DON’T DO WELL WITH PRESSURE. I feel like I’m going to explode. It feels like I’m being forced into this.

They can’t force you. Just say you’re not able to handle the stress and stick to that regardless of what she says

I had the same issue with my employment specialist. She kept pushing me for work. But ultimately I was able to convince her to allow me to study. And it seems like that is now in the process of getting approved.

They are the specialist in pushing people but they should know they have to be careful with people with sz. Let the doctors protect you!

Some people have monthly quotas to meet.

All I’m saying.

Saying no is important. They were trying to force me to work because i kept saying yes but i was able to finally say no

Getting a disabled person to work justifies the economic existence of the health team that otherwise produces nothing of economic benefit.

Money is a factor but I choose to work so it helps my recovery , so I can meet people , so I’m not stuck at home … But to go in and take crap from people isn’t my idea of a healthy work environment.

A job doesn’t fix your mental health problems. Get stable and then figure out what level of productivity you’re capable of.

I had my last psychosis 2020 I don’t think I can get more stable than this. But I’ll see what the response is about working with him
