I got my mum an Irish four leaf clover broach as she is Irish it’s lovely on her
My brother got my mum a light blue beret which she wears all the time

I almost always get my mum chocolate. Sometimes (hard) cider or gin too.
Flowers are popular gift too.
I don’t spend very much money on mother’s day. Don’t over think it. Its just about the gesture of giving more than something she will treasure for ever (IMO).

I got my mother some gourmet chocolates I ordered online. There are SO many chocolate places (chocolatiers?) online now that send their goods to you. It’s awesome.

I think my sister got her some books, and my dad got her a candle. We’re big on gifting here in the Tulane household lol

My family gets me kitchen gadgets I can use or gardening things- hand tools, seeds, vegetable plants for Mother’s day.

I’m a huge fan of useful gifts.

I went to the Hallmark shop in town at the drug store and I had to price check and put it back down because Hallmark is expensive…anyways, I found a dog statue that looks like her dog for 8 bucks…fifty percent off…better than just a card again.

If she has any hobbies or interests, something to enhance that. Or supplement it.

Or otherwise, maybe cook her dinner. :grin:

I just got a blank card and wrote a special message in it to my mom. I asked her what she would like and she said she didn’t “need” anything, so I just wrote that she’s the best mom in the whole world. I know she’ll like it, I just wish I could’ve gotten her something else…

I bought my my mom a purse and wallet. Then I realized the purse didn’t have a strap, just handles, so I searched for a strap of that brand in that particular type of leather and color, nwt, then ordered that, too.
