What should I do? *poll*

Soo I’m supposed to be getting the results of my colposcopy……… I called this morning and left 2 voicemails…. It’s been almost 5 hours and no call back…… so should I be even more annoying and call them again soon? Or just wait till tomorrow and call again?

Wait till tomorrow if its not that urgent, clinics are always busy

Well it’s to find out if I have cervical cancer or anything precancerous…… so it’s kind of important……

I am just going to hope and assume it’s neither because they’re taking their sweet time getting back to me

If the results were positive for cancer I would think they’d make it a priority to call you.

The fact they haven’t called you could be a good sign.

But it could also be they forgot, or are busy or something is screwed up.

That’s what I’m assuming and hoping

They called me last night right when they closed and said “give me a call back” well, I’ve called back.

Idk, it’s making me anxious

Haven’t you been waiting like 2 weeks for them to get back to you about your test results? That’s not acceptable. I’d keep bugging them, but that’s just my opinion.

Yup, 2 freakin weeks….

It’s driving me bonkers honestly.

My guess is that you’ve waited this long because there’s nothing urgent going on.

2 weeks and no answers?!?
This is totally unacceptable.
I would keep calling them but if there was something wrong with your test results they would have contacted you right away.

If you had cancer they probably would have called much more promptly. Both my cancer positive aunt and my now deceased member of the family received the news very quickly like not even a week went by according to their stories.

But they should actually call you back way sooner. Definetly keep being annoying if that is how you feel.

So I got the results, it was negative!

BUT, the provider still wants me to get surgery on my cervix? So possibly it’s precancerous?

Idk, she wants to schedule an appointment with me to come in so she can talk to me about it in person….

Glad everything went okay for you, Roxanna!

They want to cut out/off part of my cervix tho. Makes zero sense to me honestly

I’m in Massachusetts. When I have lab work or tests taken, I see the results online very quickly.
