What’s your greatest forum memory

One time someone was generalizing all women… Like saying “women do this”, “women do that”. And Minnie said to him “don’t generalize all women. Girls don’t like it when you do that!” so I said “you just generalized all women saying they don’t like it when guys say that!!!” And she said “OK you got me! I’ll go make a sandwich now!!” Haha will always remember that.

Many. But I remember when a regular on the forum was having a major meltdown and me and a few other people just talked him down for like 20 minutes until he felt better and we got him his confidence back after he was just losing it. It was pretty dramatic and real. I think it was @Sarad who said the people who helped him should be manning a 911 line.

Mine was an intellectual fencing with @anon9798425 . We were arguing something about clones and immortality. I don’t recall the thrust of the argument, but after I said “touche,” Treebeard put a like on my last post and went away for a while.

It was memorable because my typing hands shook violently the whole time from intimidation. It’s something I’ve hopefully overcome.

Met a girl and a lot of great people on the old chat. I agree with @77nick77. Together we make our world and sometimes here you can make a huge difference in someone’s outlook or life. That is a worthy thing and although there’s been a lot of bad reactions and such…those positive ones far outweigh those for sure!

I haven’t been here long, but something I’ve noticed is that people are very kind here.

I can’t pick which one of my posts that was locked or times I got kicked off for a while but one of those would qualify.
