I’m broke, so 10 dollars is a lot. But really any money where you can support a family is a lot in my book

I have to watch every dollar or else I end up asking my mom for grocery money

I create budgets of all my expenses so I know what I’m spending and saving. It helps plan for purchases you want to make.

What about a $30,000 vehicle purchase? Or what about a $2 million home purchase?

Smartphone prices or going beyond the $1,000 range.

$10,000 or more.

Large purchases don’t count for this poll. This is just you see something and want to buy it

You have 10k walking around money?

Nope. That’s why that would be a lot to me.

I had a compulsion then, before an episode, I threw away expensive things. The Voices had ordered it to me. It’s the first time I ever experienced something like that.

I threw away a 190 € processor, 16 GB of RAM and Amazon Kindle Paperwhite, plus my PS Vita with games and accessories. As well as a Playstation 3 with games.

And the voices told me that I should sell all my stuff to anybody possible. After I sold everything, I started to buy new stuff all the time.

Shortly after that I became an online shopping addict. Until I ended up in hospital with a visit from a lawyer that offered me that I can get a legal guardian. Since then I have money for food.

But before that time I have spent my savings, over four thousand €, and had no money left from my military service anymore. I also spend meanwhile around fifteen thousand € of my social welfare in two and a half year on my shopping addiction. I was lucky because my father gave me a place to live and food for free. So I could spend close to nineteen thousand € in two and a half year. On always the same stuff that I just sold after a week or two, and then bought it again new.

Wow there are a few wealthy folks on here. That’s great! I don’t consider myself poor but I’m a bit stingy when I’m not manic

I’d like to be driving a Porsche 911 Turbo when I see one but can’t afford it.

I can not even save up to fifty €. I always end up buying stuff. My legal guardian saves around 120 to 240 € per year for me. At least if I don’t got many subscription on the internet for stuff like DAZN, Netflix or World of Warcraft.

I hardly by anything, but when I do it’s a quality item. I have no need for a lot of stuff I’m not going to use.

The most expensive thing I own is my stereo

How much was it when you first purchased it?

List price $40k, but I got a discount

Whoa, must be some stereo system.

Indeed it is. It’s an experience to listen to. And hopefully it lasts me for many years. Audiophile magazine has a ranking of components and every component is ranked class A.

Do you have a TV and a collection of music and or movies to go with that stereo system?
