Next week I get to get high on weed. My connect is bringing me a half ounce and I smoked yesterday with my brother while they were chopping wood out in the country. I know many on here are against weed, but it makes me so very happy to get out of my head? Just taking a few hits of sativa makes me feel so close to God. At least I quit drinking.

I mean, my bf smokes weed, weekly, but he doesn’t perform any other activities while high…We had a huge fight once he was driving while stoned really bad and he change since then.

I totally get that. My stuff is delivered to my door and I NEVER leave the house or drive when I’m high. Otherwise I get paranoid. No, just sitting and listening to the Beatles when I’m high makes me feel like I’m in Heaven. Thanks @Sarad for understanding.

I personally dislike MJ but don’t care if other people use it. Everyone has vices. It’s nothing to be ashamed of unless it’s negatively effecting your life or endangering other people. Enjoy yourself and have fun!

There’s better things to do than getting blitzed.
The only thing that gets to me Is when people buy drugs like that when they don’t work.
A better option would be play the guitar . It will put you in the zone and get you out of your head

Marijuana is bad for schizophrenics, period. I really dislike non-schizophrenics supporting a habit that clearly negatively affects @jukebox.
@jukebox, you know that weed causes a lot of problems for you. How many times have you had to pawn your guitar/banjo to support that habit? I wish you’d drop weed from your life.

I no longer have to worry about that @Malvok I hardly spend any money at all as a matter of fact my connect is buying one of my paintings this time so I don’t even have to pay for it. I know that was the way it was back in Phoenix but I hardly ever buy it anymore. thanks friend, I"m sorry to upset you.

It’s not like he would stop smoking weed just because some of us tells him to stop… I’m sure he is well informed about marijuana-sz interactions… We drop our bad habits only when we truly want…
That said, @jukebox, I wonder why do you need approval from others? Because we usually do it when we are insecure about our decisions…

It’s not specifically directed at you, I think there are more than one in this thread. I just think that on issues specific to schizophrenia some people may not have as close an understanding of our struggle. Suggesting that it’s ok for a schizophrenic to smoke weed is just wrong.
Well its even not only about schizophrenia… depressed people usually don’t stand weed very well…I also get paranoid after few smokes…
But I guess he didnt seek for judgment …or lecturing… But understanding.
