I’m done with the really cheapo disposable razors. You get 8 for £3.50 in supermarket, green wilkinsons (UK) razors and they are shite especially if you have a lot of beard growth. Just spend nearly a third more on GIllette FUSION5 RAZOR BLADES. yet to try them but they look good.
I made myself sore using the cheapo razors and missed loads on my face so am happy to have something decent. I just wish they wasn’t that expensive.
I have no motivation to shave so can easily go 10 days without shaving and that starts to get really uncomfortable with the itching. And the cheap £3.50 razors are shite with this much growth. About cut my face to bits using two shite razors and still have a 5 o’clock shadow. @anon21675834 I heard good things with Gillette.
I don’t have any motivation to shave either. Not since I got sick in August 2013. Now I just shave every two months after I use my Wahl clippers to cut my beard off.
Brill to hear @anon28552576. They might be more economical them cheap razors long term. I’m going to have my first decent shave on Tuesday morning before my day centre opens.
I use a Remington electric shaver. Their quite expensive initially but last for years so shaving is cheaper long term. Easy to clean, far less waste and I can get replacement heads when required.
I use the Dollar Shave Club razors. I’ve found that shaving every day makes more of a difference than what specific blade I use, though. The shorter my hair is, the less it dulls the blade.
I use gillette. Out here they are called Mach 3 and disposable with a handle but with the right shave foam/lotion they last as they clean well.
I use aqueous bp cream. It’s like a soap substitute and it’s cheap compared to shaving creams but it’s good for other things and especially good for shaving with a blade. Lathers good and healthy for skin.
If you clean your gillette good they last a while and I’ll get a few months out of a set of blades. And I shave every 3 days or so if I’m not bearded as I’m a hairy man!
