My voices speak in English & Spanish bc I know both I guess

English and French. Both languages I know. They occasionally curse in Afrikaner, something I also have a smattering of.

@shutterbug Aaron one of the voices has told me he was an alien, but he also said once he was an angel so I donā€™t know whats that all about

Iā€™ve reduced mine to background ā€œblah blah blahā€. Nothing they say has any bearing on my day-to-day life. Just background noise that is treated with contempt then ignored.

thatā€™s good, I wish I have that. The most active two right now are phillip and Rebecca. I hear them whispering about me, usually if I listen to music through my headphones I can drown them out. Did you ever have to do that?

My inner voices speak in portuguese english and french. But since my meds got upped I no longer hear them. Yay! :smile:

I know Iā€™m really happy about itā€¦ but I might change meds soon because of the side effects which sucks, but anyway, wish me luck! :smile:

Just so you guys know, psychiatrists have a series of arbitrary questions to detect malingering, and ā€˜what languages do your voices speakā€™ is one of them. They claim that people donā€™t experience voices in their second language, but thatā€™s clearly false because I and many others do. My voices speak in Spanish and English.

English only to me. When they first ā€œarrivedā€, I spoke to them in gibberish and had no idea what I was saying. It was afterward that I learned about speaking in tongues and so I just thought that must be what I was doing. I havenā€™t done that in years, so not itā€™s English only.
