Is Swahili your first language? I know like 3 Swahili words! Lol my sister lives just outside Nairobi and I picked up a few things when I was little and she was just learning.

I want to learn Spanish, and can read and listen a bit, but I don’t know anywhere near enough to even piece together a conversation. I can usually get the gist in text, though.

If anyone has any recommendations for good Spanish language books that are easy to read I would love some to add to my wish list!

English and Spanish (some)

Yes it is. In fact it’s the national language here but English is the official language

Just curious…which 3 words do you know

Choo, mlango, kiato

Oof, hopefully those are right. Lol it’s been a while since I thought about it.

My sister had post its on everything in our house for like 2 years. Those are the ones that stuck with me for some reason.

I speak English and spanish. It’s weird tho bc on ap’s it’s harder for me to speak Spanish. It’s almost like the circumlocution takes a level of creativity that the medicine blocks… maybe it’s just the Invega…

Do you know the meanings?..and it’s kiatu not kiato

I speak mainly Chinese , but I can speak English when meeting the English speaking people. I keep learning English new experessions and hope I am not too old to learn languages.

BTW I am terrible at teaching Chinese. I tried it before and found that I was very anxious with the progress of my students. I just could not wait patiently. I guess teaching languages requires some training.

Shoes, door, and toilet.

You got a good memory then …I can’t recall somethings from yesterday

English is my first and BS is my second. But I can understand the bulk of the German here. My Finnish is pretty sad but I’m working on Ancient Greek now and I dabble with Anglo Saxon.
