I haven’t published any books, but I feel like I had not sick I would have published several books, with five more on the way.

Professional horse trainer. I was on track for my career until I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder in 2018 and lost my job

Who knows I’ve had sz since 17 years old, the direction of my life could have gone anywhere from there.

My nursing career.

I loved hospice.

I probably would have continued in some capacity in nursing. Probably eventually moving into some kind of desk job either as a nursing supervisor or working in quality control.

My family brainwashed me to get in medschool. I got a degree in kinesiology/physiotherapy. But later I found out I love computers and hate touching and working with ppl especially sick people. My dreamjob is computer programming/software developper.

I was a pilot in the Marine Corps when I got sick. I had a job lined up to fly 747s when I got out of the Marine Corps for Cathay Pacific from LA to Hong Kong. Never got to do it.

I wanted to be an actor. I wasn’t much good though - I think I was in line to do English at Uni
if I’d been better at acting I would have done that but the same when I was younger with dance.
so I think I would have drifted from job to job like I did anyway

I would have been a chef if not for a career ending physical injury.

SZ has not hampered me too much in terms of professional goals. Not enough that I need to complain about it.

Well, when I got sick I had just taken the test to be a highway maintenance worker. It paid like $1300 a month which in 1980 was a small fortune to me considering almost all my jobs up until then had paid minimum wage which was $2.65 an hour. A full time job at $2.65 cleared about $390 a month.

I would have taken that job but I’m sure I would have eventually gone to college and studied something that got me a good job.

Surgical tech, lab tech, something like that… If I was good at math I might have tried to be an actual surgeon… If only if only the woodpecker sighed
