Yesterday while doing a bit of reading online CBD oil came up. Also in my town there is a natural herb store/vitamin store where I noticed a sign out a couple of weeks ago saying “now selling CBD oil”
So on reading I noticed it’s something to do with the herb/pot plant but with basically no THC tonget high but some benefits.
I am going to ask my nurse about this. However despite the fact that it says it’s good for schizophrenia marijuana was awful for me. But was that because the marijuana was psychoactive?
Is CBD oil a taboo thing? Should i not be bringing it up. Sorry if I shouldn’t. Just thought perhaps this would be beneficial for me too
I live in the UK so any type of cannibis is still illegal here. But i can tell you from personal experience weed/cbd or any derivative is not good for a Schizophrenic. I used to smoke a lot of weed, including High CBD content - and altho it works as a short term solution, and you may think it works. Long term it does seriously mess with your head. I found it highly psychologically addicting. I prefer just to stick to my AntiPsychotics now. I Personally wouldnt recommend cannabis in any way shape or form now, no matter how they “dress” it up as a medicine with somebody diagnosed with SZ. Just my two cents.
No THC from what I have read just the CBD but I think some very low percentage. I’m still unsure hence my post. But now I have some more clarity on the matter.
