21st Century imperialism

I never said any of that.

I’ve heard that peanut butter is an American thing, but I don’t know how true that is.

Well take a look at what I’ve written in this thread then and ask yourself if you really think I’m anti-American.

You could ask me questions if you want. I’ll answer.

You know I tried PMing you about this but it looks like you’d rather keep doing this. It looks like you just have something against me.

It is a weird country, I think they should spend less on guns and the military and more in welfare.

Guys, we can have a conversation without bashing or arguing.

I’m America so my perspective on my own country is probably pretty biased. I see this country as having quite a ways to go on the front of human rights, but I also acknowledge the strides we – especially affected minority groups – have already made towards equality. I’m happy to do my part in ensuring a better future for the younger generation of Americans as well as generations to come.

I like our status as a melting pot and I hope we can get better at welcoming those in need of a place of refuge. I can appreciate certain aspects of our pop culture scene. Overall I’m pretty happy to be here.

The LGBT rights movement started in the US and the US is the cultural centre of the LGBT movement.

I hope that the US will lose influence in global political terms ,
and China and India will gain influence.

I don’t expect everyone to love my country. I do recognize we have our faults. But I don’t think people need to keep bashing it on a what is the US famous for thread.

China probably has the worst history of any current country when it comes to their negative influence on other countries.

@anon9798425 I think the opposite is true, and that China is a force of good in the world.

Well guess what, you’re famous for good and bad things. Maybe be thankful for the enormously important position you have on the world stage instead of complaining about other people’s honest feelings towards your country.

I think peanut butter was invented by an American slave or slaves but I’ll have to confirm that. That invention made a lot of kids happy for sure.

The province (state) I live in is big on guns. Mostly rifles for hunting. My dad owns several guns for hunting and killing livestock to eat. My dad is very humane. When he kills an animal he shoots in a way that kills it instantly if possible.

America was like legendary after world war 2. We haven’t one a war since. But I still love my country.

You forget the glorious invasion of Grenada, Panama, and a few others. You’ve won plenty of wars.

I  America and we’re famous for beautiful people of every size, shape and color.
