What is the name for this

i know some of you have probably had this idk if its exactly sz related. but its when your thoughts are throwing out random phrases with no context and random noises. not exactly as audible as external auditory hallucinations but not the same as regular thoughts. it happens to me sometimes when im super tired

I hear things like that but it’s normally auditory hallucinations or part of my DID

Intrusive thoughts maybe?

If you recognise it as your own thoughts then it’s probably intrusive thoughts

But if they are not your thoughts then it’s probably inserted thoughts

Check with your pdoc though…

I say it is a hypnagogic condition too, because it happens in the context of sleepiness/tiredness. You say it isn’t quite like auditory hallucinations, so I guess I would call it semi-hallucinations. The kind of thinking you describe sounds like derailment, but I’m not sure I understand this term correctly.

I like your name. You don’t hear it very often now.

Glad you like it.

I think it is more popular in the form of Alberto.

It’s not as rare as Adolf, which used to be a common name.
