What is the most optimal dosage for Invega?

Pdoc asked me on what dose I was previously, so I said 75mg monthly ( I am talking about Invega that scales with 25,50,75,100,150mg doses) so thats equivalent of 3 mg risperidone. The problem is I relapsed on that dosage. Should I ask that my maintenance dose should be 100mg monthly of Invega?

I think you should increase the dose if you relapsed before. I was getting 156mg every month of Invega Sustenna but had to get it increased to 234mg in 2019 then last April I switched to the max dose of Invega Trinza which is 819mg every three months and Iā€™m doing fine on that.

No. No side effects.

When I was on the Invega Sustenna shot I was on 234mg. I ended up having to discontinue due to the cost.

Since the cost of the generic Invega (paliperidone) in pill form went way down recently, I am now on 6 mg of oral paliperidone ER. The highest recommended dose for oral paliperidone ER is 9mg.

117mg Invega Sustena is the manufacturer recommended dosage.

For me 75mg is optimal.
