What is the fastest way to transfer files between desktop PC and among mobile OSes?

Apple tablet and phone cannot communicate with my Samsung’s Android-based tablet and phone. For Apple device to connect to PC, the iTunes must be installed and used for file transfer. For Samsung, there is no need for this.
In order to transfer from Apple to Samsung or vice versa, is it necessarily to use a PC? Let say I have video clip from Samsung, and 20 high definition photo from Apple, what do you do to sync themselves and also sync with Windows tablet? (You’ll have access to Internet on all these devices)
If your suggestion is faster than mine, I will use your idea instead.

This is an idea! Not a tested scenario!

Yes, this is the fastest way possible. I use something similar, just other brand for the app.

My personal opinion is that everything on an Apple computer or anything beyond Windows 7 is harder and more expensive to do.

Ubuntu Linux is the best operating system of all time.

Thank you for your answer. Next time I will try Ubuntu. I just have tried Linux Mint.

Just email the file from desktop/laptop to yourself on your phone. Or mail from your phone back to desktop/laptop.

Or you can use bluetooth if your laptop supports it.
