What is psychosis?

I been diagnosticated with acute psychosis and unstable emotional personality about 2 years ago, i hâd the simtoms much earlier. I was curios IT is psychosis a simtoms of sz or is a diferent ilness?

I could be wrong, but I think it is a symptom associated with certain disorders including sz and sza.

It’s too hard to explain. Look it up on the internet. Psychosis is basically being out of reality and not knowing what reality is.

Psychosis is like being in a dream. That can sometimes be a nightmare. Things don’t feel real.

The only comparison I have to psychosis is when you take too much cough syrup, or you have a high fever and become delirious.

Why would you have to much cough syrup

People drink cough syrup to get high.

Psychosis is your brain having a fight with itself. And the brain wins.

Accidentally. It’s happened to me before. I wouldn’t intentionally get high from cough syrup. I’m already quite familiar with sedation so it’s not for me.

When you have a high fever it’s hard to correctly dose cough syrup if nobody is helping you.

@Prophet i am not sure If IT is a simtom or a disease, i research a lot about IT, i know how IT manifest

I would say it is a disease. It can be drug induced. But yeah I would it is a disease and illness.

Not sure If i have only psychosis or something else where psychosis is a simtom… Anyway i understand psychosis

Yeah there is a woman near where I live who drinks mouth wash on the bus just so she can get alcohol. Also I don’t think all my teeth are going to fall out!
