what is modafinil and what is it used for
It is a stimulant that keeps you awake.

Unrelated, but I remember taking modafinil in a parallel universe. No doctor I have seen will prescribe me stimulants. They’re bad. I just am looking for a cure. I want to work. I had adverse effects to them. I remember taking adderall too in a parallel universe and I was more productive. Most people ( actually everyone) does not believe me. 
I probably had more anxiety. What worked in one life might not work in another. I learned this.
Modafinil is used to keep you awake and alert. It’s different than adderall.
I sometimes think I have unrecognized ADD. I think ADD has high cormibidity with aspergers.
My doctor told me stimulants benefit everyone. But as a “schizophrenic” I probably would get worse. I put schizophrenia in quotes because I doubt my diagnosis sometimes. I’m truly disabled but dont think I’m delusional most of the time even though my beliefs and thoughts cause distress. Im told I’m likely bipolar.

It’s often prescribed to help people adjust to shift changes with work.
I take it, so I don’t feel so sedated by Latuda and Lithium. It has been very helpful for me.
modafinil even the lowest dose makes my psychosis/paranoia worse. I dont suggest this to any schizophrenic/psychotic patient
