For me it was premature ejaculation, very fast ejaculations, and no satisfaction with abnormal emotions. Compulsions and impulses. I had genital pain from ejaculating 6 times per day, it felt like OCD with sex. I had it on Abilify.

Now on Risperdal my sex drive is even lower than normal and no addictions. I hope that Vraylar doesn’t cause any hypersexuality.
@LevelJ1 Can you know when you become hypersexual? It took me years to learn how to detect hypersexuality.
For me hypersexuality is when I became inappropriately sexual towards people or had sex with inappropriate people or if I had frequent or impulsive or dangerous sex.

I get you, I had these as well, luckily all these stopped after stopping Abilify. I told my psychiatrist and he switched me to Latuda back then.

Its not hypersexuality instead agitation linked with sex.
See this video, consider same behavior for sex.
They’re two different medical terms, I wasn’t agitated at all.

Its a kind of impulsivity. If you do any activity in impulsive mood whether its shopping, sex, gaming etc all can appear like hyper.

Yes that’s what Abilify caused me and that’s what the FDA and Health Canada warned about. Abilify bottles have warning about impulsivity since 2017. The guide that comes with the medication.
I remember you said in some previous post that without abilify you became catatonic, full freezing. Dopamine agonists during catatonia can induce this kind of impulsive behaviour.
Parkinson patients also gets same when they given dopamine agonists like l dopa. They do gambling, gets hypersexual etc when l dopa dose is high.
That’s only when I am without meds.
Dopamine agonists even in small dose is risky especially if have impulsivity issues.
Well only Abilify and Rexulti have warnings about impulsivity, not Vraylar. Only way to know is to try Vraylar. I learned how to detect impulsivity.

When i take TMG supplement i experience hyper sexuality, more interest, energy etc hard to fall asleep at night. May be it can help you to manage negative symptoms in a more controlled way.

I read that drugs like cocaine makes ppl hypersexual, I think its bcz they boost dopamine but not sure how it works.

If I had to guess, it was typical hormones amplified by my delusions and drug use.
Didn’t help that I was in an open relationship with a much older woman who introduced me to harder drugs.
This was in my late teens and early twenties.
