15 mg in the night and 7.5mg in the morning…

When I first took Zyprexa I was taking 15 mg twice a day. That was an awful lot, though, could barely drag myself out of bed.

20mg is the approved maximum dose.

Most docs would go up to 30mg, although the maximum official dose is 20mg. Some would even go up to 60mg but those might be some crazy docs. But such docs inhibit the face of planet earth.
Smokers and males need more to achieve the same levels as non smoking girls. There is a lab test available that can check your levels, and in case for some reason (unlikely) you have a too low level even on 20 or 30mg/day, your doc might go higher.

I take 20mg at night thought that was max dose . Have been on it for three years.

I was up to 35 at one point. Someone on here was up to 60.
