If you have a PC , Would you consider learning a computer programming language like “Python”?
There’s plenty of tutorials and python is easy to learn. It’ll definitely exercise your brain.

It came as a pleasant surprise to hear that learning a musical instrument is an intellectual activity.
App inventor is a pretty fun and free way to make simple apps for Android. I made a couple games and productivity tools with it.
Tracking various things is also kind of nerdy hobby of mine. There is a water dispenser at my library for filling water bottles and I have been tracking the counter on it occasionally to see how linear it’s usage is. I also track my weight, car odometer etc. Google sheets is pretty nice for doing simple graphs and histograms and calculations like standard deviation. It’s even nice to use a sound decibel meter on your phone to compare different environments for noise levels.
I play solitaire and candycrush on my phone lol
Maybe some rubix cubes ? There are lots of different kinds. I always thought it would be cool to master how to solve them. Im sure there will be.helpful videos on youtube to help.
