A house in the city. I travel an hour through hell traffic to get to my cricket club where I volunteer. It would be nice to live local but the average pad around there is getting steep…like up to 1 million. Simple life I lead now…just a different neighborhood.

One of the messed up things about being on SSI is that they limit the amount you can have. They changed the rules a bit with the ABLE account but even lowered the total amount you can have then some states initially allowed. It used to really be discouraging when I was working knowing that the asset limit was $2,000 for both workers and non-workers. I am glad things have changed some at least but am still bothered that you can work your way off of disability without having enough to cover medical bills and the expenses of a normal life.

I’d get rid of all my debt and buy myself a small house or a nice apartment somewhere with better public transportation option.
I’d also buy a lot of new clothes. The ones I have are either too big or too small.

I’d get the basic necessities, like health care and a car - a Honda Civic would be fine. But then again, I might not even get that. I would donate the rest to charity and different causes.
I would play real life sim city, minus the disasters.
I would like to start up a little commumity with basic affordable housing that would require each resident to do things to sustain the community.
This would be maybe 10 hrs a month of community work such as providing tutoring to kids, community garden, etc.

If I have money, I will use that money to make more money. Invest in the stock market and earn interest and dividends.
How much money are we talking about? Can we buy world peace? Would it be enough to buy rice for the world? The only thing I want for myself is a Subaru and a new vacuum.

Buy more time. Time is currency and everything is secondary to it.
If I had money, I’d move to NYC and buy two nice penthouses in Manhattan. The one I would live in and the other I would rent out.
I’d also attend a really nice music conservatory.
The rest I would invest in the stock and bond markets.
I would buy peace of mind
a beautiful house
a nice wardrobe
also travel
