Yeah, that’s scary. I’ve owned several businesses and a domain name is so important. I actually thought about buying it to make sure someone didn’t scoop it up. I would have just given back to the forum, but it looks like the owner renewed; good deal!
Godaddy holds onto a domain after it expires. You can buy it back for a certain amount of time if you pay some damn fee. One of mine lapsed and I wanted it back but the fee is like $80. I’ll just wait till Godaddy releases mine.

When I had my businesses I always bought the domain names for 10 years. I was always afraid I would lose it. I guess being paranoid is good for something. LOL!
I tried to log on last night and the site was down. It’s happened before.

Sorry guys - I forgot to pay the domain registration fee - so they “turned it off” late last night. Its all taken care of now and should be fine for the next few years.
