Have people ever mistaken you for another ethnicity? I get mistaken for Indian (India) Asian, Puerto Rican, mulatto, Arab, Afghan. 
What do y’all think I look like? Just curious.

No I’m pretty white. I did have a history teacher try to say my last name was German ( it’s not my dad doesn’t have any German ancestry) my dad’s family comes from Scotland and Ireland.

I think you look like a person above all else. I don’t have much experience with being misIDed…if that makes sense.

I’m from Mexico and we’re a melting pot over there too, so we’re from Spietz Switzerland, East European Jewish, Apache Native and Afghan. Good combo I think.

People have said I looked more American Indian than I really was. They said they thought I was a 1/4, instead of a 1/8, like I really am. I think the dominant strain in my makeup is the Scotch Irish - the Scotish Calvinist. I’m Chickasaw Indian. The Chickasaws kept the French from coming up the Mississippi River into the states of Mississippi and Tennessee. They made the Louisiana Purchase possible. If it wasn’t for the Chickasaw’s we’d be speaking French here in Oklahoma.

People often seem to think I’m Italian, or Eastern-European. Which to the best of my knowledge I don’t descend from either of those cultures.

Not a different etnicity, bit from a different country. Im dutch, but in the past people have thought several times i was french or had other foreign influences. I am tall, blue eyed and blonde, so that is weird. I used to be very slim for a dutchie though. And my foremothers were french, so there was a tiny bit of truth in it.
My dads family looks a bit foreign as well. When my niece and uncle visited indonesia, they thought they were mixed race, dutch-indonesian.

I don’t look mixed. I’m pale with light brown hair with blonde highlights, and green eyes.
