I have sz and I could only manage a simple life and a simple job. It also means repetitive tasks. What would life be like? I can’t handle a lot of thinking and comprehension.
I have an easy job that is only sometimes stressful. I live in a small town. I don’t have a lot of friends complicating my personal life. After work I might run one errand but I’m usually anxious to just get home. My life is really simple, some might say boring, but that’s how I survive.
i have a busy life. i have two boys who are both in hockey right now so i’m constantly taking them to that. plus cleaning the house can be a major chore especially with two small kids. plus i work all week 40 hours a week. all of this causes me stress and if it wasn’t for my wife i’d prolly end up in the hospital a lot more. i don’t really have time for friends but i do try to make them.
I too, have a simple life. I don’t go out much, but tend to stay home more often. I don’t have a lot of interaction with people outside of my parents. I work out and exercise, I blog and I listen to music. Like @Hedgehog said, it might sound boring but it works for me.
I had to do more and be more social when my son was little. I pushed myself harder to make sure I wasn’t holding my son back socially. He’s grown now, so the choices I make now are to suit myself and keep the stress down.
You should be really proud of yourself that you’re there for your family.
Thanks, that actually means a lot!!
I love the simple life. What i mean by that is i don’t overspend money or clutter my home with unnecessary stuff and i like to give away what i don’t need and I like to enjoy simple pleasures in life like having a cup of coffee, talking to my budgie, watching my fish swim around, walking on the beach, eating simple healthy food.
I have a simple life of mostly silence and solitude. I meditate twice a day, pray, do yoga, practice Ayurveda, practice piano every day, and read most days. I attend mass once a week. I eat my dinner alone in a dining room at an assisted living facility. I own a cat. I never watch television or movies. That is my life in a nutshell. And I am very content in it. That to me, is a simple life.
