What does CBD do for you?

Does it do anything?

It gets me higher than a kite.

It’s a stranger world these days and I understand that but encouraging certain behavior isn’t accepted. Please keep things within the boundaries. ie avoid the high talk please.

I like to think it makes me more in control of my emotions around people but mostly it makes me sleepy.

Nothing, it’s purely a placebo effect for most people. 20mg in a gummy is not enough, and some people take 1mg from a droplet.

I feel it when my tolerance is low. My heart races bad like a heart attack, but when my tolerance is high it has no effect, but when my tolerance is at middle range cbd calms me and I’d relax.

I smoked a whole joint cbd it had very low thc. It didnt do anything but make my lungs feel like there on fire.

My gf uses the cbd oils and say it helps with anxiety she took 200 or 250mg of it for it to work i think

It’ll become habit forming if you do it right. For me it was a gateway back into regular cannabis.

I haven’t used in like 6 weeks and probably never will again. It sounds like you’re using for recreation too.

Hope things work out.

I disagree that it’s a gateway drug to normal cannabis. In my opinion it’s a safer alternative to normal weed. Some people don’t like it too strong.

But everyone is different.

That’s how It worked for me. Maybe it works different for other people. Idk.

There are no absolutes with addiction. Everyone works different.

Yeh man. It’s good to have a safer option, and if your young and try strong weed it can mess you up big time.

I think allowing cbd with trace amounts of thc in it, like hemp, gives people with low tolerance to thc an option away from strong thc.

Sometimes for a lot of people all they used to be able to get was strong weed off the streets. Nowadays cbd flower is legal and people would much rather that.

:sunglasses:

Safer based on what? There has been no research into any effects of the drug.

For me it no safer than regular weed. I was just able to drive on it. One will get you high, and according to OP he gets high ‘af’ off of the other one too. So again, addiction affects everyone different.

He also noted they he’s getting high ‘a f.’ Which apparently is the feeling he’s chasing.

I don’t know op from a hole in the wall, but I do know addiction and cannabis well.

I urged caution to OP so he doesn’t end up with problems like I was dealing with.

Cbd is neuro protective. Everyone I know has tried marijuana at least once. If you don’t like it don’t take it, why punish everyone.

The op got high but I can only imagine what skunk thc would do to him. At least there’s a much weaker form for him to try. Cbd is medicinal, maybe not for everyone but the fact is it is medicinal.

I wouldn’t say cbd is a gateway drug. That’s a bit too far.

Sometimes hemp helps me out and sometimes I hate the stuff. I’m up and down, so you can see how people can have different tolerance to these things.

I’m glad the op tried it. He don’t like it then leave the stuff alone. We all have free will.

If CBD is getting you high, @anon4362788 has an interesting article for you. Apparently some people have stomach acid that can turn CBD into THC if they digest it, and for those people it is better to take it sublingually. Hang on, I will see if I can find the article.

For me, CBD helped with my anxiety enough that I could stop taking my anxiety medication and my sleep aid.

It sits in the store as I walk past it. I’ve got better coping tools that cost less.

It didn’t get me high, but it was a wonderful effect. I wasn’t stressed out, and the things bothering me seemed so far away, (like voices). It was like being sheltered in something protective. But the company I got it from was crooked, and the next shipment was contaminated and couldn’t be used. I think they want people under stress.
