What are you experiences of CBD?

So my final evaluation of CBD is… it doesn’t work, at least not for me. If anything I have had a really bad week since I have been on them. You can probably tell from on here that I have not been acting right. I met up with my parents yesterday and if anything I was a bit more nervous that I normally am, so in terms of anxiety it has not really been helping.

Has anyone had positive or negative experiences of it?

I honestly didn’t even notice any effect from it at all. But I used to use marijuana so I’m used to a more powerful effect and that’s probably what I was comparing it to. I personally considered it a waste of money but I’m not the one who paid for it and the person who paid for it said they felt some benefit, so more power to her.

Not all CBD is the same. The real stuff you can only get in states where marijuana is legal. From what I understand is there are 2 types. One is made from the flowers of the plant the other is made from bi products. The real CBD has low levels of thc in it that’s why it’s only in states where marijuana is legal.

Marijuana is legal in my state. But it’s still difficult to get because legalization is still in the early stages.

I do plan on giving cbd a try. I don’t react well to marijuana but I’m willing to try cbd once it’s available.

Yeah, I somtimes wonder if some of it works because of the low levels of thc in it. Like there is still no real science behind it. I think that is one of the reasons I am wary of it, because smoking weed is the best experience in the world, it is just 3 years down the line, it is not the same, and you are just smoking it to escape how dulled your life has become from feeling elated all the time.

Same, same.

I’ve tried tinctures, topicals, dabbing the isolate, and smoking the actual flower itself-- nada.

In fact, the flower gave me some wicked anxiety.

Not debating the efficacy of CBD though; it definitely helps numerous people-- some on this very forum.

Used to be a smoker for a while, until the illness hit. One puff of weed nowadays and I spiral into psychosis.

In all honesty, I should probably just stay away from all variants of the cannabis plant :upside_down_face:

Yeah I was a heavy smoking until I ended up with psychosis. If I smoke weed now I’ll hide under my bed until I come down.

CBD really helps me. I have some flower, but I don’t smoke it anymore. I use the gummies and gel pills. Both are nice alternatives to ativan – which can be habit-forming. Maybe it’s a placebo effect, but I think it really helps with my anxiety.

I’ve gonna have to try it. I’ve taken ativan and valium and it’s roller coaster ride of withdraws. The drugs help for a short time then I’m back to going through withdraws until my next dose.

This is true.

This is not true.

I use the flower in a dry herb vape and enjoy the effects.

I’m still discrete about my usage though as it smells like reefer.

My Father takes CBD for his chronic foot and leg pain but it seems to help only a bit.
He still experiences pain.

He wants to try Medical Marijuana next.

I tried CBD once and I think it just made me take a nap.

I also tried it. It didn’t work for me either.

Same, it only made me sleepy during the day so I stopped it. I am already oversleeping because of Risperdal. I tried cbd weed, cbd tincture and cbd crystals/isolate 99%.
