I use this forum for entertainment, to help and offer support to others if I can , to socialize with others who have had similar experiences, to get information on sz and, on the rare occasion where I am feeling particularly bad, to get support.
What do you use this form for or what roles do you play here?
I made my account because i was bored, i can be helpful to others sometimes , i love the music and memes forums.
Well it helps me keep my focus on recovery, and I like the people here.
I don’t think I’ve settled on a role, but I like learning and being helpful.
I joined for similar reasons, I don’t have much of a social life in real life and I thought it would be a good idea to interact with people who have had similar experiences, since most regular people don’t understand schizophrenia. I try to support people and offer advice when I can, I joke around sometimes and try to have a good time.
For the most part it’s a good forum. Sometimes it seems like too much of a safe space but I’ve decided to stick around. The types of things that get banned here can be discussed freely elsewhere.
I don’t feel like I have a “role”, other than just being another member of the site.
I like sharing what helps me, but I’m not sure others are helped by it.
I like communicating with people who kind of understand what I’m going through more though. Especially since I have to hide all of it irl. It helps me a lot.
Socialize, talk, and vent, I guess?
I use it to socialize, get advice, gives me something to do, and past the time as well, to help me when I am having a bad day.
I joined when I was at an extremely low point, this forum helped me get back on my feet, and now I just like to check in sometimes
I don’t really have a role. I just enjoy chatting with friends and learning about meds and symptoms.
My role is to occasionally start a new Say Anything thread. Tell people about my Charles. Offer support when possible. Receive support when needed.
…and hit that Like button virtually indiscriminately.
i like pretending i know the answer to things
