What do you think of Sting from the Police? I love him

listening to a few of their albums in a row and wondered what the forum thought of Sting in particular in the Police and then his solo work…I much prefer him in the Police but I also love his solo work…

His solo work was rubbish in my opinion. But the police were superb.

Sting has a unique voice…I can only compare him perhaps to the lead singer of the band YES in his pitch and tone.

The Police were huge when they broke on to the music scene back in the day…I remember it well. Interestingly, I believe Sting was an English Teacher before he hit the big time musically.

I like sting and prefer his solo music but the police are good too. My brother is a bowie fan and likes to compare the two… theyre both good musicians but i prefer sting.

I agree with @everhopeful
His solo stuff was rubbish and I was never a big fan of the Police.

Besides the music the guy got on my nerves.

I think sting is a good musician. I like his song, so lonely. From the police… Not sure what the title is

When I was 14 years old I went to a Police concert. I have liked Sting ever since.
