I’m absolutely gone screaming bored
Health things would be practicing a hobby, creating something, doings like chores.
Bad things would be sleeping, tv/movie/video game bingeing, any bingeing really.
I’m guilty of a lot of them
But mostly I try to pick fights with strangers on random websites
Not gonna lie, I do this when I play multiplayer games and someone pisses me off
I watch the simpsons for go for a hike. Recently I’ve been with friends a lot though, and with school I don’t have a grand amount of free time.
I sit at my desk and think things through, when I can.
I read for a while when I can find the motivation.
I watch sports on TV.
I watch the news on TV.
I set up a schedule of activities to do with friends over the weekend. Like going for a walk or going out to a fast food restaurant together.
I talk on the phone.
But I admit sometimes I take a nap and that usually makes me feel worse.
I got a job. Don’t have time to be bored anymore.
There is enough going on in my head and enough to daydream about that I rarely get bored. But I do get lonely sometimes.
I dont know what to do when I’m bored nowadays. Sometimes I want to go back to work but I feel like I would lose it and get worse and cant keep up. ■■■■ my life ugh.
I usually watch movies / tv shows that I have stored away.
Most recently I do diamond paintings.
Exercise has a great upside but it is hard to start if you’ve bad negs. Still. It can be cheap and help you physically and mentally.
Hobbies are good. I get a new hobby every few years or so. Just something to pass the time. Sport is really good. I still play competitive sport at 49. Just start somewhere and make yourself do it.
I usually play on my phone, take a long bath, or go to bed.
I play with our cat a lot. Lately I have been playing some pinball now and then if I can get out. I like using chord sheets to play music on my piano. Smule is a really cool app for karaoke.
I like using Google Docs to write song lyrics or to do journaling.
I take a lot of pictures with my phone. There are even cool apps to make stereograms.
Lately I have been playing some Word Games apps that are really good.
My wife and dad are usually not well so spare time can also always be used to help them.
I don’t do hobbies. That having been said, someone gifted me a digital camera, and I found it of use particularly at social events. Everyone knows the role of a camera person at an event, and it helped me a lot as I have few social skills.
I rarely get bored. But I can be easily exhausted which means I don’t have brain power to do anything. In that case I watch the videos of Bejing Opera. Just for relaxing.
makes me want a new kitten
so i went for a cycle, went a long way - got lost - bus back… and bought a handbag
nothin like a day like yesterday to get some freedom in the next day…
I keep myself busy with hobbies. It helps. As @TomCat mentioned, working also helps
Atm, I come on here. Or just go and have a nap. To take up some time.
When I was on Amisulparide I never used to get bored, which was kind of weird. I would just lay on the couch day dreaming and watching the second hand on the clock go round in circles.
Then when I switched drugs, my mind came alive and I started to do things and getting bored when I wasn’t engaged in something.
That sounds exactly like me on Risperidone!!
although i wonder if that was more because of no computers
Now the one i take makes me stable really
sedated but need to be engaged
