Some stress is good
Motivational and protective stress
But when it gets too much…
What do ya do???
Music . It takes my mind off things.
I try mindfulness to start off with. I remove myself from the situation if I can. Or, as a last resort, I take a Diazepam.
I need my anxiety PRN at that point. And then I just lay there until it eases up. If I try to do any mindfulness exercises, I will have voices come up and scream at me what a piece of ■■■■ I am.
I use benzos and Buspar to relax.
The only thing that works for me is a benzo pregablin used to work but now it basically does nothing
Deep breathing if am anxious and in a meeting and around people. If I am alone and anxious or if I have a headache, I meditate. If I am agitatedly pressing my lips or if I can’t sleep, I take 0.5 mg of Klonipin prn.
