Im sza mixed type and have been in a depressive episode for almost 6 months. I cant bring myself to paint…I miss it dearly.

I’m SZA Mixed type too and my moods have been pretty stable thanks to the addition of Abilify

Ive tried abilify and it made me have very addictive tendencies so i stopped. Im not on any meds for the past year due to weight gain and I couldnt handle it, i also have RA and the extra weight was killing my joints and i have a horrible eating disorder so my mental health seemed worse with any signs of weight gain. I was excersizing for 3-4 hours a day and starving myself and still gaining weight on many different meds. So i think unmedicated is the best for now until i can find a better drug. Thanks for the compliment on my painting. :slight_smile:

It’s very beautiful, you are incredible talented.

I know about missing skills because of this damned SZ. I used to write novels for the biggest publisher here in Denmark, but i can’t write anymore, apart from articles about SZ for the newspapers

Abilify makes me eat a lot too. I got fat. I got diabetes and am on two drugs for that. Ozempic is now hard to get right now, so I might get fat again.

Thanks for the compliments! Yea I felt the best on abilify, I wasnt on it that long though because it made me feel like an addict for sugar and other things I hated that feind feeling, prbably would have gained some weight if i had stayed on it longer.
