What do you all know about retro games?

My first console was the original NES, though my friend also had an Atari 2600. I loved Nintendo games like Super Mario, Adventure Island, and Ice Hockey. My favorite Atari games were California Games, Space Invaders, and one that I think was called Stampede. Ah, those were the days. Then I moved on to Sega Genesis, then N64. I never had a Super Nintendo until I got older, and never had a Gameboy. I never cared for PS or XBOX, don’t like the new stuff, only like the older stuff. If it came after N64 I’m not interested.

The original xbox was my ■■■■. Elder Scrolls 3, Fable, Halo, Ninja Gaiden… a lot of ground breaking titles to me.

It was the dreamcast before that. It was the world’s first in a lot of ways.

Always had a pc. My little brothers had consoles but I was living away from home and always had a pc. Gawd…paid a lot of money for those computers which were a joke compared to my latest rig. Hahah. So all the …Quest games…and most of the decent pc games.

On PC a long time ago when we first got internet at home I think like 1992 or something I forget.
We had a 14kb modem and downloaded this 2D car racing game called ‘superspeed’

It was 45 Kilobytes to download. And it took 3 hours to download it :joy::joy::joy:

My mate stole an old modem from his work…surplass to requirements. It was 1200 baud rate. It took me that long to load a web page that I didn’t even know it worked tilll I waited like 6 minutes! Ran out and bought a decent 28800 or something…it was way faster…this was like 1996??? Gawd what a disaster that was…still fun though!
