That makes you feel like a million bucks afterwards??
looks like some sugars and minerals
Probably morphine!
Lol morphine funny
I still believe it’s coconut water
After watching the movie who am I
Is it true can we use it …
Mostly salts and sugars
First you gotta flush the line with saline before you do anything else
So some of it is saline
I had to administer my own IV antibiotics at home when I had sepsis. Had a pick line in my arm for a month.
Mostly sugar and a small amount of salt. Sometimes they might add a little bit of potassium, if you need it.
But if you’re feeling “like a million bucks”, they might have given you a pain medication of some kind. Were you in any pain?
Tbh my thought was that they were dehydrated and feel better due to the iv. Just a thought though. I’m not diagnosing.
If you feel that much better and you just had a regular IV fluids, you were probably super dehydrated beforehand.
lol @Ninjastar like posted that simultaneously.
@sweetpotatopie lol! I will never stop being surprised at how much better I feel when I get properly hydrated after a while without.
Hey have you ever tried the hydration iv powder sticks at the store. Those are amazing and help keep me out of the ER from dehydration. @Ninjastar
They are a godsend. I occasionally get it into my head that they are bad for me because they have salt and sugar, then I start feeling bad for “no reason” until I finally have one and remember that salt and sugar are actually necessary. I somehow never permanently learn.
Feel that all powerful super water flow through your veeeeeeeeeeeeeins. @Ninjastar
I might start buying pedialite. I feel super satiated after drinking it. My brother in law had pedialite popsicles. Idk what it is but they hit the spot.
