Oh ok I see cause I thought it would stop hallucinations in the moment but it prevents it from getting worse

Haldol is good for solving acute psychosis. They tried it on me at the hospital, and it became my full time drug for a year

It’s a quick fix for when your symptoms are getting the best of you. Taking a PRN can help give you control back, or relief at the very least. Important to have a good Plan B.

I’ve tried haldol but for some reason I got more psychotic maybe my dose was to low
What dose of Haldol were you on? I was taking 15mg/day. Now I’m on the monthly 100mg shot. I’m told I’m still psychotic. It’s very frustrating.

Yeah that’s a decent dose. I’m sorry it bogged you down so much. I totally get how that feels
i take klonapin
it lowers anxiety but doesnt help with psychosis
i also am on propranolol for agitation
